Archive

The archive module contains a powerful search engine enabling users to search for agenda items and decision records by any word or phrase within the agenda item, decision, report, minutes, etc. Combinations of words or phrases may be used to define a search and searches may be restricted to a specific Committee or date range.

The result of any search is a list of relevant items and decisions that match that search. Linked to each item (and viewable by simple ‘point and click’) are all attached documents such as the relevant report, appendices, plan, etc. The relevant Minute causing retrieval is similarly linked (together with any Scrutiny comment) as is the complete history of the item. From the history, the minutes of all meetings at which that item was discussed can also be viewed.

Backlog minutes created prior to the use of E-GENDA by the Council can be entered into the E-GENDA archive by AKS. Typically, such data will have been created originally in word processing packages such as Microsoft Word, Word Pro, etc or even in older office systems such as ICL OfficePower, Uniplex, etc
